Guided Fishing trips in the Pacific Northwest (Washington & Oregon) is something that everyone should get a chance to do. It allows you to experience great fishing even as a beginner! Finding the right guides can be tough though. There are plenty of guides out there but sometimes it can be hard finding one who displays professionalism, fish-catching ability and a good attitude.
We have fished with many guides all over the Northwest and have selected our top regional guides based on our experience with them. EVERY guide that we promote through our website we have personally fished with and can vouch for. We enjoy fishing with guides who come well prepared, know their fisheries well and make the trip fun!
Columbia River – Gone Catchin’ Guide Service (Cameron Black) – SW Washington
Cameron is one of the finest guides fishing the Columbia River and offers year-round opportunity. Families and kids will really enjoy fishing with Cameron as he is laid-back…but works really hard to get you on fish! Even very young kids will enjoy his kokanee trips (average 30 – 80 fish per trip!) and adults are sure to enjoy all the trips he has to offer.
Cameron does very well fishing for Spring Chinook, Summer Steelhead & Fall Chinook & Coho. He often is found out in the Columbia most of the year, but also offers some great trips in the tributaries when they are running thick with fish!
Cameron operates out of a big comfortable jet sled, uses only the finest Lamiglas rods and puts fish in the boat.
Not sure what type of trip to book? We have options for coho salmon, chinook salmon, sockeye salmon, steelhead, bass, trout, kokanee, sturgeon, walleye…the list could go on! Would you prefer to fish out of a big jetsled or would you enjoy a small-river float in a driftboat or pontoon?
It’s ok if you don’t know – We’d love to offer suggestions. Every fishing experience is different and at different times of the year you’ll find varying opportunities.
Email us and we’ll let you know what type of trip will best suit your needs!
